Amanda Brugel

(February 27 2010 (February 27 2010 - Toronto ON) Pointe Claire is a small community that lies on this part of the island of Montreal called the West Island. People unfamiliar with the term tend to think it's a separate island somewhere west of Montreal but in fact this part of West Island is home to all things from the town of Lachine west. Amanda Brugel was born there although her time in the city wasn't long. Brugel lived in Courtice outside Oshawa Ontario. Her first ambition was to be a dancer but the growth rate of her body meant she grew beyond her dance partner. In an article published in the Toronto Star she admitted In heels I'm 6'1 inch. After I outgrew my male companions, I stopped. For Brugel, it was her encouragement from the drama instructor at her high school, which prompted her to start acting. It was suggested that she participate in her school's production. She was the teacher who suggested that she take on a part in the annual school production. She was awarded the Fine Arts Talent Scholarship to take part in York University's Theater Program and graduated on the 20th of January, 2000. She graduated with a degree in Fine Arts. Over the past 20 years since then, Brugel has landed roles on over 60 shows on the big and small screens receiving the most media attention, when she landed the character of Rita in the award-winning television series The Handmaid's Tale (pictured below). Brugel is the only Canadian for the season 1 The Handmaid's Tale cast and only seen occasionally was the only Canadian.

Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American singer-actress. She won the most accolades for her performance in the films Layla Grant and Claudia Shepard, respectively in Nashville (2012). She also had the role of the title character in the film Jem and the Holograms, (2015). Aubrey Peeples, the child of Wendy Peeples and Ashley Peeples grew up on Lake Mary Florida.
